Our home is finally coming together but that doesn’t mean there’s no more shopping to do. I am so excited to finally create a home that suits my style & of course Jacob’s. Luckily we both like the same stuff!
At the moment we’re focusing on a more industrial look for our living room, retro for the kitchen & white for the bedroom. It’s really fun creating different home decor styles & it means we can delve into what interiors we really love. Our home all comes together with a retro mid century theme so I think it all blends really well.
Anyhow onto what I’m lusting over right now. We have sorted the main furniture minus a TV stand so please send recommendations my way! Now it’s all about adding the finishing touches. For the living room we really wanted a ladder shelve & omg they can be super expensive. Luckily we found this industrial beaut from Asda so I had to include it. It’s such a bargain so why not share it with you guys.
We also need wall decor because everything is looking a little plain. I’m debating either getting a feature mirror for above the fireplace or something really stand out there like the map wall hanging. I have fallen in love with the Hoagard store & there’s so many pieces I would happily buy. I also want something industrial to add to the base of the fireplace so the wooden lanterns really caught my eye.
I’ve added a bunch of different art pieces to this list because I want variety & to add texture to our rooms. I want our wall decoration to stand out but also stick to our styles. I would love to have a textured piece for our bedroom with a mix of art prints that we love. I’m hoping we can find a bunch that can hang above our bed & sofas.
As you can probably tell from this home decor lust list I am on the hunt for beaut planters & I really want a mix of basket planters & stand out pots. As a blogger of course I had to add the Geode coasters because if you’re gonna have coasters they may as well be stupidly beautiful right?
I know this list is pretty damn simple but right now we are trying to put rooms together & curate a home that we love. It’s not about being pinterest perfect but forming a space that we love to be in. I’ll continue to add to my current lust list on my site so you’ll be able to keep up with my decor hunt.
