Time For A Life Update

Time for a life update - Guinness & selfie collage

Considering my blog has been on auto pilot for a while I thought it was about time I gave you a life update. I feel like I’ve been doing anything but blogging this month but for a good reason; life has taken over & I’ve been busier than ever. I’ve been enjoying myself rather than slouching around & worrying about blogging. It feels blooming refreshing & I’m back feeling more creative than ever…. can you tell from my new pics? But yes I feel like I have been here, there & everywhere this month so here’s what I’ve been up to.
Time for a life update - doughnut, Eiffel Tower selfie & my favourite murder tickets collage First things first I’ve been travelling & I’m hella excited about it. I love exploring new places & I wish I had the budget to jet off for a few months but alas that’s not my situation right now. This month we’ve been to Dublin & Paris so lots of walking was involved. I love love love city breaks! They are much more interesting over beach breaks but I think I’m in need of an all inclusive sun bathing holiday right now.

Travelling has meant that I’ve had limited weekends available for blogging so everything was pretty much wrapped up late April/early May so I haven’t had to sit down & do anything till now. It’s rather fabulous even if I had to come home & regig the blog in prep for the GDPR update (anyone wanna slam their head against the wall when they hear those letters?). I’m so done with hearing about it so this is the first & last time you’ll read it on my blog!!

Apart from being the ultimate tourist I went to see my favourite murder live (hence the Dublin trip) & it was lush. We had a pretty stressful time since we left our tickets & home but the guy at the booth printed us new ones & released all the built up stress I had been accumulating throughout the day. It was literally was the worse feeling but since we were there so early we got to meet Karen & Georgia & my inner fangirl was very pleased. I really didn’t know what to expect from a live podcast but I absolutely loved it!

On to the England based shenanigans; firstly I recently signed up for a yoga class. Well when I say signed up I sent off my health form & I’m just working out which class to pick but I have been doing pilates from home so least I’m on the track to getting healthy again. We’ve also had some happy news because Jacob’s slowly making a transition in work so he’ll be more Wales based so we’ll be potentially moving there at the end of the year. I don’t want to jinx it tho!!!!!!!!!

I’ll be blogging a lot more about my trips etc during this month so don’t worry this isn’t your low down. I’m currently editing a tonne of pics & trying to make fancy collages which is slightly stressful on a Mac but I think they look pretty cool. Let me know if you like them in the comments please & also I’d love to know what you’ve been up to this May.

Shelley xx
