A Welsh Haul

A welsh haul - clothes & bag haul flatlay

I may have done a tad of payday shopping & well I decided to use the treat yo self mentality. Don’t we all need a spot of shopping every once in a while, its not like I’m off to London this month to spoil myself. Nope not at all. However since I did a bunch of shopping it’s time for a welsh haul.

If you hadn’t already noticed I recently fixed my hair. Gone are the days of blonde to green & now I have the cutest orange do! That also means it was about time I bought some salon products to keep that colour in. I decided to splurge a little on the haircare front & purchased the Goldwell dual senses colour set. I have to admit I kind of slipped up & forgot to check if they were cruelty free which their not, so I will be replacing them when they run out.

If you aren’t swapping to CF (which I would highly recommend) then I have to say these smell divine & they are really high quality. My stylist uses their range in store & I’m all for supporting independent salons hence the sale. Plus Kiri gave me a mini Evo fabuloso copper top up which is definitely going to come in handy. My hair already needs a treatment, I need that bright orange back.

Onto beauty which I pretty much don’t need anymore off but hey ho who can resist a beaut eye palette. I already wanted the heat palette when it was on everyone’s Insta but I just didn’t need another palette in my life. However when I saw they released a mini I just had to get it! I’m all for a grungey eye look. I also popped into Primark & saw they had the sponges on sale. Remember when I wanted the silisponge? Well this is a cheaper version so I thought I may as well test it out. A welsh haul - goldwell, fabulous, naked heat petite closeup

Time for clothes which my wardrobe cannot fit but landed in my basket nonetheless. I have a problem I know, I just can’t let go off clothes or stop shopping! My only excuse is I haven’t shopped in a long while so I deserve it.

I’ve been seeing pyjama style blouses everywhere so I’ve been on the lookout for one to add to my collection. I saw this polka number in Topshop & well it’s ridiculously flattering & I’m all for a monochrome look. I also grabbed a few basic slogan tees; as if I need anymore but I couldn’t resist a spot of Harry Potter & how cute is the to the moon & back tee?

I picked up a basic stripy shirt from Primark & a lush striped blazer from Stradivarius which is to die for. I’ve never shopped there before but the quality is beauts. Plus I saw the box clutch & I had to buy it. I have been looking for one foreverrrrr & I just couldn’t find one I liked. Then I go into Primark after buying this a see they’ve got bigger version which I think I may buy at a later date too.

I’m now on a budget for our trip to London but it was so worth it. Everyone needs a fresh wardrobe for spring & I obviously need a new eye palette. Treat yo self is definitely a motto I’ll be sticking with but maybe using with caution…
